Chip Lambert, M.D.
Church Outreach Coordinator
PO Box 770636
Houston, TX 77215-0636
clambert@mbfoundation.org
Chip Lambert is the newest member to the MBF staff
after accepting the newly created position of outreach coordinator. He
works from Pittsburgh , PA and has three areas of responsibility. First,
he will serve as coordinator for the international short term
volunteers; second, he will lead various mission teams abroad to explore
and work on some of MBF's medical projects; and he will represent MBF as
a development officer in the western Pennsylvania area.
"I believe that we all are given special skills. But to be faithful
Christians, we must consciously be good stewards of those same talents.
To use all of these wonderful gifts in unison is what enriches the
Kingdom. The apostle Paul said it best to the Corinthians, 'For the body
does not consist of one member but of many.' This is what being a
Christian is really about."
Chip is a board certified emergency medicine physician and served as a
Director of International Emergency Medicine at Allegheny General
Hospital in Pittsburgh. He has lead numerous international medical
mission trips and worked in refugee camps after the 2004 Asian tsunami,
Hurricanes Mitch and Katrina. "I am excited about devoting my time,
energy and talents to medical mission and anxious to raise awareness of
MBF's presence throughout the world."
At home, Chip serves as deacon at the Presbyterian Church of Sewickley
and medical director for Brother's Brother Foundation.
Chip is grateful to his wife, Rev. Beth Wierman-Lambert, and children,
Hannah and Parke, for their continued support during this remarkable
journey of faith.
