Pam
Ator works from her South Florida Office in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Previously the Southeast Regional Director and Associate Executive
Director of MBF, Pam came to the Medical Benevolence Foundation with a
background in marketing having done doctorate studies in nonprofit
management. She is an ordained Elder serving on the Session at her home
church, has served as the Clerk of Session, and on the Committee for
Ministry and Committee for Preparation of Ministry in the Tropical
Florida Presbytery. Pam was a commissioner to the 217th General Assembly
and served as Vice Moderator for the Mission Coordination and Budget
Committee. She has two daughters, Jennifer, an attorney in Miami,
Florida, and Sara, who has just completed seminary and is living in
Asheville NC.

relationships with God’s children throughout the world. I am continually
in awe of the Christ I see in others. Again and again, I find God is
there before us and with us. In Africa where our partners care for those
ravaged by HIV/AIDS. In Haiti where they struggle with extreme poverty
and hunger and the resulting illness are a way of life. And, in China
where the church works to re-define itself and care for the millions
left behind in the wake of economic development.”
“As I have traveled to churches and presbyteries, to conferences and
meetings throughout the U.S. and to Haiti, China, Malawi and Kenya, I
have experienced the warmest of welcomes everywhere. It would be
impossible to measure the hospitality and graciousness of everyone. It
continues to be a wonderful and continuing affirmation that ‘We are one
in the Spirit’.”
